mixed up - which drivers to use with audigy2 platinum ?

title is pretty much self explaining, which drivers would be best to use with my audigy2 platinum ?

the ones downloaded from creative's site, or some other so called 'hacked versions' which are mentioned on this board ?

I pretty much need only the basic drivers, not the included software (which I don't use anyhow).

PS: if one of the 'hacked' versions, how would I benfit from them over the original creative ones ?

if it matters, I have the audigy2 plat. connected to DTT3500 speakers
