I got it working on X-Fi Platinium.

There are no more swapping with RL and RC channels (6.1). Haven't tested them with ASIO though.

http://www.station-drivers.com/forum...pic.php?t=2036

If you look the file dates on that installation you'll find that the ha20x2k.sys is the only file dated to year 2006 --> as the driver is for OEM X-Fi, there may be some missing/changed functionality on thar driver.

So, maybe this driver overwrites only ha20x2k.sys file?

That would be the reason why I have no problems with swapping channels:

Official - No prob
Beta - Swapped
Those drivers - No prob

If you install without enabling the "Overwrite existing ...." -option, it's possible that you get your driver installation messed badly --> other options seem to be selected as they should be.

No, WDM is normal for Win2000/XP. Just don't tick overwrite shared or do the same when uninstalling. It will just mess everything up (i couldn't install default software for Audigy 2 when i did this). Equalizer was failing, EAX Console refused to open and god knows what else. So don't do that.
