IDE cable from Live! card to Live! drive IR expansion?

Hello,

I would like to connect a Live! sound card to a Live! "Drive IR" expansion that is on the front panel of a computer I just got. The cable was missing.

I know the manual says not to use an IDE cable to connect a LIve! sound card to digital I/O card, but is this just an issue of not getting the orientation correct? Is there a way to use the IDE cable to do this?

I found the pin-outs on this site for the sound card, but I haven't seen anything for the expansion module to see if this would work..
