Any good Mp3 players?

I was lookin into iPod at first but then people say it's not all that good. I care about sound quality the most. Are there any players out there which have superior audio quality? Or all of them are similar? Can anyone recommend anything? Prehaps any mp3 player owners with experience..or without..lol

True, I must agree I've heard better BUT I don't want best sound quality in the bus for 20mn. Anyways ambiant noise ruins everything so just proper quality is good enough for me

The iPod sounds great, even though it is Apple. My bro has a Sony MP3 player, and that sounds GREAT!!!

I was looking at the IAudio G3 players, they come closest to meeting my standards, max of 2GB though, I really would rather a 4GB flash player, but nothing except the nano is released in that size.

i've got the Iaudio x5l, plenty of space and a advertised battery life of 35 hrs. havent tested the full 35 but ive left it playing for 24+ hrs and it was still going strong. plays videos too, not the biggest screen but its a a good way to pass time. sound quality is better than my computer too

you will find that even though you think a smaller player will meet your needs, it will soon fill and you will get tired of transfering music to the player.i had a couple of smaller players and it was fine and dandy for a couple of months.then when i had all the music on my pc up to date and there was nothing else i wanted. then i wanted a larger player so i could just put it all on there.i went with a used creative zen extra 40gig and couldnt be happier.i found it on cl for 75.00 with a case, charger and all the documentation and original cd and original unused earbuds which are actually good unlike the ipod.sound quallity is excellent and also has eax to enhance your music to your liking.battery life is arround 8 hours if the backlight is set to go off in a few seconds and about 10 hours of solid playtime with no scrolling.
