Dead Sound Card? - Audigy 2 ZS
So I had a power outage tonight and so I had to reset the CMOS on my computer. So I did that, reset all my settings and then when I got into Windows, instead of having sound I get this loud and constant hissing/static from my speakers. I reseated the card and tried another PCI slot but to no avail. So I uninstalled my drivers, used Driver cleaner, reinstalled drivers and I still get the same static.
The card is an Audigy 2 ZS, speakers are Logitech Z-5500 in analog mode. Is my sound card just dead or could there possibly be another explanation?
