What's dead? Audigy2 ZS or the drive?
I have an Audigy2 ZS and its internal drive.
The PCI card seems to work perfect but the drive not. Only the optical signal is on (and don't know if it works!!). What I really want to find out is where exactlly the problem lies, on the PCI card's or on the Drive's AD_EXT interface?? |

The pci card seems ok. I can hear sound very well.
But the internal Drive doesn't give signal to the phones jack and doesn't takes signal from my microphone. Apart from the optical led (is ON) the Drive seems dead!!! I beleive that something's going wrong in the interface between the pci card and the Drive.... but which one may be malfunctioning??? |

Is the power cable properly connected to the Drive unit or is your PSU too weak to feed the PC- system w/ Drive added?
