One speaker wont play

I have the logitech x-530's and they were working great until the front right speaker stopped working. The speaker works fine when connected to my mp3 player so I know its the computer. However, I dont know what is causing it. I tried adjusting the balances in the audio properties but no sound will come out of the right speaker. Its probably something stupid that Im overlooking but I just cant seem to find it, any ideas?

when last time you formated? Did you try unplug your speakers once in great while that might fix issue. Check your contral panel in speakers settings make sure it's on 5.1 speakers or what settings you have on them.

I havent formatted in a few months, but i have far to much stuff to do it now. I have tried unplugging my speakers and letting them "rest" as well as trying them in other devices. In the control panel all the settings I could find are set to 5.1 and the speaker volumes are at their default postions(in the middle). Changing the speaker volumes had no effect either. Is there anything else that it could be?
