problem with Klipsch THX 4.1 speakers

hi all,

i've been experiencing this problem since yesterday.
ive just been on a 2 week trip and i mistakenly left the speakers' power on - they are klipsch thx 4.1 speakers hooked to an audigy 2ZS sound card

the problem is that im getting alot of feedback from the speakers, it dampens any audio sound and if theres no audio its loud enough to hear across the halls

i figured the unit was overheating so i turned them off since last night and turned them back on now (a difference of about 10 hours) - they worked fine for about 5 minutes then the feedback popped up again

any of you guys have input on how to fix this problem? id really hate to discard them and i dont feel like paying a crapload of cash to get them fixed (i live in the UAE so it will be a bitch)

problem solved!

stripped all the wires and redid all the hookups from scratch, been running for about 10-15 mins now and they sound flawless
hope this stands
