Except, use the Live Uni-Pack driver. Not the Audigy 2 Series driver. Disabling UAC and driver signing has worked for some folks on the Creative forum when using the Live 5.1. You just lose the gameport/midi device. Vista doesn't seem to support those, even on the Audigy series.
You may need to do some fixing after installing and rebooting. Some folks have had success by extracting the drivers (the uni-pack download, for you), removing the devices from Device Manager, rebooting, then directing Vista to the extracted folder that includes the inf (probably Audio\Drivers\XP or something) when the wizard comes up. If it doesn't ask you, then manually update the questioned marked items in Device Manager to the driver in that folder. Note that you do all this after having run the Uni-Pack setup and rebooting. I don't think that'll install unless you disable UAC and driver signing as instructed by that thread in the Creative forum first. A possible work around without disabling UAC is making the folder you have the Uni-Pack in have Administrator rights and right clicking the setup exe and running it with Administrator rights. Then you'd need to individually give your approval if the UAC box pops up during the install. Who know? Maybe it'll work. There are some who got it working by some combination of these things. I think you then need to uncheck sync with Control Panel in the Creative software and set the SurroundMixer to 5.1, and the Windows Control Panel to 5.1.
