System Specs

chx creatives site but as far as i know the differences between the cards would have nothing to do with the i/o module.

The diffrence only lies on X-RAM.

Platinium does not have it, and Fatal1ty does 64 megs.

Other than that, those are the same cards, have the same RC, and I/O Drive.

Only Elite Pro has different DAC, Extreme music --> Fatal1ty have the same.

O, I forgot.

Fatal1ty and Elite Pro cards have a small box with glowing X-Fi sign ;-)

advertiser, I can get your Platinum card modded to Fatality FPS only if you send BIOS of Fatality FPS to me.

Elite Pro uses all high quality chips on it. therefore modding lower edition card to it is not possible.

Edit:
Nothing to edit. lol

elite pro uses an external box, hence different components to the internal one

iirc there's hardly any difference between the x fi and the audigy 2/zs bay drives either

I think we can find the way figure out external pin-out as we have already done with Audigy4's external pinout @--->Audigy2's internal AD_EXT successfully, check HERE out.
And Audigy1 Platinum Pro's external pinout @--->X-Fi Xtrememusic as well (but that sun da biach won't wanna share this outcome to us).

And you are damn right, X-Fi's pinout is pretty similar as Audigy2's AD_EXT. This has already been figured out by that sun da biach of YouP community as I mentioned above. 85% functions of Audigy Drive bay work on an X-Fi Xtrememusic after we mod and connecting it. -CL
