Pissed Realtek ALC850 no bass w/ 2.1 speakers

I've been struggling with this for a few days now and thought I'd reach out to see if anyone else has experienced this.

I have an MSI K8N Neo Platinum nForce3 250Gb w/ a Realtek ALC850 onboard audio.
I just upgraded my cheapo 2.1 speakers to Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and I've noticed that I'm not getting any (or very minimal) sound through the .1 channel (subwoofer).

All 3 speakers are connected to the "line out" jack, then run through a KVM/A switch. I know the speakers are working b/c I can swap computers and the bass thunders through the sub.

I have tried both the latest Nvidia Audio drivers and the latest Realtek drivers with no significant change. Slightly better bass w/ Nvidia, but it's coming through the desktop speakers, not the subwoofer (even with the sub volume turned all the way up) I've also tried tweaking everything, from the speaker wizard (setting it to 5.1 from 2spk to changing the threshold), cranking up bass and turning down mid/high just to see if I can get the sub to thump. Nothing has worked.

The alternate computer is an Asus A7V8X-X w/ ADI 1980 6-channel CODEC and the difference is significant. If I flip between the computers (with the kvm) I go from barely any bass at all, to rattling the windows.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I drivercleaned everything (nvidia (everything) and realtek). I even did a full uninstall of ALL Nvidia drivers, then a re-install of the MOBO drivers first, reboot, then audio.

UPDATE - I found the problem. And hopefully this will help anyone else having a similar issue. It was the KVM Switch. Apparently there was a bad audio port, but not so bad that the audio went out completely. I plugged the speakers directly into the card and VIOLA, the bass was back.
