A common audigy/X-fi problem with a new twist: Please Help!
Hi everyone! I just recently purchased a new case (Aspire X-cruiser) which naturally has some front panel connections for headphone, mic, and volume control. The biggest stumper to me though is that it has a front panel gauge that reads the dB volume inside the case.... and I can't figure out how to make it work (it's labeled as VU, so I might be wrong as to what it acutally is).
What it comes down to is that I'd like some advice on how to hook it up to an audigy or X-fi card to actually get it working properly. If anyone has some advice, here is the connection diagram I have, as best as I can translate it. Mic-in.........|....grnd mic-pwr......|....N/A r-chnl-frnt...|....r-chnl-rear N/A............|....N/A l-chnl-frnt....|...l-chnl-rear it's a 10 pin connector, but I have no problem re-pinning the thing to get it to fit in a different connector, I just need to know what goes where on a Audigy or X-Fi card, as when I was trying with either, I couldn't get any of them working. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! |
