X-FI exrememusic+digital i/o decoding?

Hello guys

I've a x-fi extreme music an the digital i/o from creative which is connectet with the flexijack. now i've in- and outputs but i can't make my soundcard to decode the input-stream because this funktion is disabled in the audioconsole. my question: is there a way to get this enabled?

You hope there be a different answer here than the one on Creative forum?
That with connecting pins 25 and 35 on the AD_EXT? You don't have the pins - solder...
