hi there,
I recently updated my drivers and now I have only 2 speakers settings on the surround mixer application, changing windows speaker settings to quadrifonic doesnt change anything at all; Driver version: http://img360.imageshack.us/my.php?i...pdriverxq9.gif Audio Control Panel: http://img504.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ppanel1at8.gif its not the first time it happens when I update my drivers that sucks as I have to rollback to an older working version every time. any tips? thanks a lot.s |

Hmmm... from autoupdate ?
By the 1st linked picture, it shows like you have installed Audigy drivers for your card --> maybe this is the reason for your issues. Also, can you enable the synchronization w/ control panel on CT speaker app ? jiitee |

I didnt' even know there is an auto-update option, where's that?
in fact, there are no dedicated updates for Live! cards and as I saw around the web is that everyone i using audigy 1 drivers but that makes me wonder about limited funcionality on the driver. I have the ms audio applet sync option on but changing my speaker settings there make no effect. this is really frustating as I have major issues with eax on newer games using the original/old drivers. I wish someone that has a similar card could give me a tip. thanks a lot. |
