x-fi xtrememusic.... blows?

i rarely understand leon's posts... but yes audio creation mode can create your own eax modes. actually people bitched about no EQ on creative cards, they give u an eq since audigy 2 zs and now they give you full eq controls for EAX. so no more bitching. my x-fi is very smooth right now. the vocals on my rap is so clean, lil jon sounds like he's going "we up in this bitch, get it crunked up!". ahhhhhhhh im tipsy

Yes I know that, but then I have no EAX support.

Example:

Half - Life. I want to alter my voice only on mic. On even Live! cards there was no problem with this, but now I can do it only on Audio Creation mode what means no EAX and no CMSS.
This sucks.

X-Fi Hardware architecture is quite different from previous sound card...As X-Fi supports EAX4/5 when it's on Game mode. Audio Creation mode and Entertainment mode support EAX3 only.

Strange. After running HL I got no voice while being under water (EAX preset is used there, and it's EAX1) while being in Audio Creation mode.
