S/PDIF Higher Hz = Better???

If i can, should i just have my PC output the Highest Hz it can through my S/PDIF, my PC says it can do 192Hz, but im afraid that maybe it will hurt my Onkyo HT S580, but i coulodnt find anything in the manual about that

System Specs

the higher the sample rate, the higher the quality generally

howerever the source material has to also be at a higher frequency, if you're just playing audio cds, mp3 files (at 44,100hz) or dvd movies (48khz) there's no real point cranking the sample rate
