Just post to let you all know we have successfully hardmodded X-Fi OEM to X-Fi Platinum by flashing X-Fi's BIOS.

Next mod we'll go advance to turning X-Fi OEM to X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS when X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS is going to be cheaper 'cause now I don't have one.

I am running Linux and creative has now updated there forums to let them know that they are releasing 64bit beta drivers at the end of the month X-FI Linux Driver? - Sound Blaster - Creative Labs

I would love to get my hands on this so I can install the drivers and have all the features of the platinum card. I did try to register on the youp-pax.org site and it will not allow me to confirm my e-mail.

So any information on this I will be waiting on the edge of my seat for!

Ya it's dead I do have file for it somewhere but it won't work anyway you have soder and mole take out the old ram parts replace with new ram on your music cards ect.. takes too long I don't want do anyway not worth the risk.

If you do get the doc's. I soldier components on for a living so for me there is no risk. I am a Electronics Technician by trade. i.e. Troubleshoot and repair them for a living..

Don't go out of your way for it but if do find time I would differently be interested in it. By the way Love all the work you do on the drivers and mods you do.. Keep up the GREAT work..

I'd still be interested even if there was soldering. Now I'm not like shaman whereby I do these things for a living but I do enjoy spending a whole weekend just soldering old electronics and stuff.
