Creative X-fi Extreme Music

ok
got the extreme music to replace my audigy2 ,did the useuall of unstalling audigy 2 drivers and software and installed new ,booted up system,the system doesnt boot into windows,just hangs there
the mobo id abit av8 3 eye mobo which uses a via chipset
changed to different pci slot ,still no boot,so take out the xtreme music card and boot up pc and works ok,turn off again and iinstall xtreme music and boot again and still no go
get ci error on abit code display on mobo which say detect memory

i know there probs with nvidia 4 chipsets mobos,didnt know via had a problem
