Pro Logic Encoder

Ok, I've searched across the forums, and haven't really found anything good telling me how to encode sound into Dolby Pro Logic.

I have Sony Vegas, Sony DVD Architect, and a drive that'll burn any type of CD or DVD. I've panned the surround just how I want it on my movie, then saved the audio as AC-3, burned it to DVD, but lo and behold, when I play it on my audio system, it's really screwed up. I get nothing at all when it's supposed to be doing L, R, or C, and I get Left when trying to do Surround Left. Same goes for the right.

Does anyone know where I can find a Pro Logic encoder so what I can write this stuff to disc? I don't know, maybe I'm using the wrong format or something, but everything in the process seems to be right. Please help!

I had found this, the closest thing, but could not make any sense out of it.
