Hi guys,
while searching through this board for the best driver for my old Audigy 1 i got totally confused. It sooo complicated with these 1000 versions of different drivers.(youp-pax, kx,... ) and possible software upgrades.... I just want to know which is the best i can do to get the maximum out of my Audigy 1 ? Thank you for sharing your wisdom ![]() Ezechiel |

The questions needs to be asked...what do you do with your sound card?

The driver should be a kind of allrounder. I listen to musik, and play 5.1 games with eax as well.
This was my porblem i had with your youp-pax drivers. I missed the possibility to configure each speaker, and had troubles with eax in games.... What about "patching" my Audigy 1 into an Audigy 2? Or is the youp pax driver a better choice anyway? |

Ya I don't know what modd version would work with audigy one for you
you can try it but used drivercleaner first then uninstalled all audigy software then used pax 2.32sp 2 it has audigy 4 iso allready reboot then install my driver then reboot too you should be all set

How about the latest X-Fi drivers,
![]() ![]() note the driver version and release version numbers (check the release number on the X-Fi download page). This is one my Audigy ES (Audigy 1 without firewaire and the gold connectors). All you do is download the X-Fi driver and extract it (using Winrar or whatever) and install the drivers manually through Device Manager. Been using the X-Fi drivers on my card for about a year now with no problems. |
