AC97 Codecs on SB Live!

Hi,

I've got 2 questions:

1. What are the codecs used in SB Live 5.1 Digital (SB0220)? One is Sigmatel's STAC AC9708, but it is a 4 channel codec, so my guess is that there must be another one to support additional 2 channels.

2. What is the difference beetwen ordinary Live! 5.1 and Digital (SB0220) - I know that the second one support SPDIF I/O - is there sth else ?

And there is one with STAC9758 - this is 6 channel. Has someone this ??? Works ok in KX ??? Because in linux rear channels (in kx front) are not working - center/lfe, front ok.

I think it works with kX.

This is new version of sb live ((c) 2003). Old ((c)2001, 2002 uses philips UDA1334 I2S DAC for rear channels, but on this new Live this this chip is missing and 6 channel AC97 is used (and on linux (ALSA) rear channels are not working on this new version Live - they used extra DAC).
