Vista & Digifire

Ok, so i realize this is probably a shot in the dark, but does anyone know of Digifire drivers for Vista? My friend hooked his computer up to the tv via spdif out on the onboard sound (DFI SLI DR), but it crackles and distorts whenever the CPU usage is up. I figured it was an IRQ conflict, but am not sure. Any ideas?

ATM, no there is none and most likely will not be any unfortuneatly.. (cries to)

BUT

there was rumored word that hercules was pulling strings to get out a Vista 32 and Vista 64 Driver asap. If hercules can do that, i'm throwing my Digifire back in my computer pronto.

strange that for the fortissimo 4 it doesn't say nothing lol...is there any reason why hercules guys don't make new driver for it?via has updated his drivers...this hercules guys are a lil bit lazzy lol..but htis is very good news

Lazy i don't think so, short staffed more likely...

They always had a history of recommending that you use the refference drivers if you can't wait.

but i'm not sure if the fortissimo follows any of the refferences designs that via came up with.

And hercules definitely has to rebuild the drivers for vista or any new drivers for the hercules digifire and fortissimo 2/3's or game theater xp's because they are WAY out of reference.

Guys good news,not only driver for vista but new one for XP too!!heheh,I'll give it a try

Edit: Tryied them..the issues it has with vista ,written in the document are the same with XP SP2..

but the sound is awesome
