I assume you have English Windows XP, go here:
http://us.creative.com/support/downl...pe=0&x=30&y=15 and download the second item in Drivers section (LiveDrvUni-Pack). |

i don't think that will work - as it states it is only an upgrade - CL require you to isntall their bloatware from the CD first - there are several third-party sites that host the CD files - i think they've been linked to previously in this forum, but i don't remember any off hand

It is not update-only (I repeat - that second item - LiveDrvUni-pack, size 23.32 MB). It includes driver, Surround mixer, AudioHQ and some other aplications, it is all you need. I know it because I used it.

You don't need any CD, just download that pack and install it. I have done it million times before and I don't know why would it suddenly need CD...

Strange... Are you sure your card is not Dell 5.1 Digital?
Try to look at the card and find the model number, it should be something like "SB0222". |

No no, I sure. The problem becomes that I deleted the driver days ago. I already had the file Livedrvunpack. But without CD this is only an update.

I'm sorry it doesn't work for you. I have installed this pack for my Live! card many times before to freshly installed Windows (with all drivers removed with nLite) and I never needed the CD.

Another idea: You could try to install the Pax drivers, maybe they will work...

You have other issues. You probably need to remove any creative related software from add remove programs, shut down remove the card, boot to windows. Shut down reinsert the card, cancel on any driver install windows that pop up, THEN run the program at the link in this thread. Those ARE the drivers. Creative STOPPED requiring the CD after MUCH criticism from consumers...
