Best driver for Audigy2 ZS???
have used YOUP-PAX drivers since I had my SB live. I am very impressed regarding its SQ. But last stable driver version I used with my A2ZS is 2.33 driver. After that other drivers mainly 3.5 series gives my system frequent freezes and hang ups especially when I listen to music with foobar and watch DVDs. I think They have certain problem with winDVD DVD driver.
I am not interested in getting A4 or X-Fi features. What I want is most stable A2ZS driver for music. Please someone make me known the answers to following queries. 1) What is the most stable and best driver for Audigy2 ZS? I do not need extra gimmiKS, I need the best functionality of my A2ZS for music. 2) Can I use my A2ZS CD-ROM for applications when I install said driver as I do not additional functionalities? 3) If not what is the best and most stable software package available for the A2ZS? Please help me. I reverted back to latest creative drivers after trying KX drivers. I think both are inferior to YP drivers in sound quality |

Is is stable though? I had a go with it and 2.32 software package. It gave me several hang ups especially with Foobar. Further I keep the PC on idle for long time it used to freeze computer. Newest creative driver doesn't give that nuisance though SQ seems to be inferior.
I thought most stable drivers are 2.33, 3.33 And 3.4! Robert please help me in finding the most stable driver. If you think 3.51 is most stable is there any thing I should do to make it work? |
