hi
i have SB0240 audigy card, but the PAX installer won't install any sound drivers or any eax panels or anything...
is the setup just "next, next, etc.." ? i chose cancel for the windows new device wizard and used the pax installer. i did something wrong?

but actually, in the middle of the installation, it said that it can't find pax.ico from the C:\Drivers\PAX-AX-V5.10A\Drivers\wdm folder.
then i just browsed the folders and found it from somewhere. maybe it wanted to look for the drivers from the same directory where the icon was?
it didn't give any error message after that though. just asked me to restart the pc

hey i have an audigy se, im using a modded driver which makes it be an xfi and everything sounds like heaven but in games, in anygame even low demanding games, or high i get constant fps drop and never a constan low speed or high speed but pikes 50 secs low speed ten minutes high. I now it doesnt sound like nothing to do with sound card, Except for the part i go to check whats cosuming processor to make it go high causing lag, and its an svchost.exe that when closed makes me loose sound. But it all runs like it should. I tried everything clean install, just after first boot trying with the games same effects, i tell you its not the video card, cause making it use low graphics doesnt improve just the same, after thats service dies, it works, leaving no sound, now what i want to ask you guys is, does this driver works with the audigy se for xp, and. Will i still get this laggy or do you know if the mod will fix it, since i dont wanna use the stock creative since they sound like crap. my bests for you thanks,
