Sound redirect - 2 sets of speakers
[COLOR=SeaGreen]Ok I have a Soundblaster Audigy 2 card and Motherboard sound aswell.
I would like to tell my computer to play my system sounds and any program soundsto be played out through the normal PC speakers. And to play all my music through the Digital out whick goes to my amp.. What is the best way to set this up?[/COLOR] |

are you using Vista? Otherwise I do not believe it is possible.
With Vista you can use the program called IndieVolume, although you will need to pay for it. |

Maybe
- enable both cards (BIOS/Device manager) - set the onboard sound as system preferred playback device -> all system sounds are routed through onboard sound then - control the analog/digital output through Audigy from software audio settings and through Creative control panels (surround mixer/speaker settings/Audio Console/etc.) I don't know if this works at all in your config when you are outputting analog and digital data simultaenously. jiitee |
