Windows Update - Creative XFi Driver Update 2.09.0007 -> 2.10.0
Did anyone else get that this morn? i turned on updates and checked it out, installing now its a 10mb file. Creative Sound Software Update Released June 07 was the description....

EDIT: It updated my drivers from [COLOR=blue]2.09.0007 to 2.10.0

I have it in hardware optional.. Im not sure if i want to D/L this driver due to the (WDM) at the side.

I use the original drivers (actualy the USA release CD), find them the most trouble free.

Beware, this driver doesn't have DTS/AC3 decoding capabilities on XP!
I think Winbloze Update is mistakenly thinking that this is a newer driver.

Any changelog?

EDIT: I cant make my music/games crackle at all.......anyone else?

Btw the only card that had DTS/AC3 was the XtremeMusic retail, and XtremeGamer Fatality, as well as Xfi Platinum no?

this driver slows down ur computer as hell. had 1 hour of work to remove this driver completely

Any more updates on this? From users I mean. What's your experience with them after 1 month? Do they change anything? Should one prefer them over the ones found at creative's site?
