SPDIF problems.

Hi.

I've browsed a little through your forums, and the users here seem kind and helpful. So I figured that this would be a good place to go for help.

On to the problem:
I've purchased a new headset (http://edimensional.com/product_info...products_id=30), and I can't get it working properly. I'm not the most advanced computeruser, so I'll try to keep it simple.

The headset goes in SPDIF (the orange output jack), but no sound is coming through. I've set it for the standard audio output (green), and it works fine.
But with this setup I wont benifit from the built in subwoofer. How can I activate my SPDIF? Is there some sort of settings that I've missed, or should I update something?

My sound card is onboard, and the headset is also connected through USB.

I hope you can help me out.

i can't find much info about this
but it seems it's a 5.1 headset am i correct?
in that case you need to connect 3 stereo jacks to your soundcard, front l/r, rear l/r, centre and lfe (your sub source)

Hmm. There's only one jack, (apart from the microphone). So I comclude that it's a standard surround headset with a subwoofer.

But thanks for the reply

if it's a single jack, then it's only stereo afaik
and the headphones should have a built in crossover to send signal to the bass driver
