Headphone Recommendations

I need a recommendation on headphones that aren't too expensive but have good audio output for, primarily, video editing but also gaming. Any model come to mind?

Cheap Grados are good for their price, I use the SR-60 without an amp.

For video editing, the Sony MDR-V6/MDR-7506 are what I'd recommend, extremely accurate playback, not as "pleasant" as some headphones, but it's a case of what-you-hear-is-what's-there
I use mine for gaming as well and they perform well

Though the V6 is better. The only difference between the V6 and the 7506 is that the 7506 has a gold plated connector, has a flatter range (ugh), and costs more.
Oh, and don't confuse the V6 with the V600.

i have demo'd both pairs side by side, my v6 and school's 7506, couldn't really tell much of a difference, but then it was only for a few minutes and from music stored on my mp3 player, so not exactly the best to go on

the 7506 has a flatter range? hmm that would be more desirable for audio purposes…
