How to steam audio just for clients with accounts?

Hi

i was wondering how to stream audio over the internet to a client program with account / password support.
I usually listen to my mp3s at work and broadcast right now with shoutcast, but anyone can listen to my cast...
Is there any stream server program that has support just for private accounts?
I don't have to listen to the stream with winamp or any common player, special client just for that stream is fine by me.
Portable client program would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance!

First one that comes to mind would be myMusic. If you go through the manual HERE you can see how it's setup, and how you can access it via username/password, and such.

The packaged version is about $20.

Thanks for the advice, but I'd like to use freeware apps.
Also I'm not very motivated to buy an application which I can't test before buying it.
