Holy crap.....100% worth it, the separation is amazing between the instruments...compared to my Sony MDR-EX71SLA/W (50$) noise cancelling buds.....they pound them in everything
Highly recommend these to anyone looking for a very nice set of headphones for their ipod. |

nice buy man, i have a decent pair of seinhessers for my ipod. not in that price range but they certainly transform the player.
When people say the ipod sound quality sucks, most of it is down to the hideous stock ipod headphones. |

So far I like them, from the eagles, to ludacris, atreyu, linkin park, to some ska and other rock bands the highs are crisp and separated nicely. and the lows are very profound (bass guitar, normal bass etc) and especially if you use the earpiece that goes in your ear more, the bass response is fantastic. Being a semi audiophile, I can say it was $200 well spent. EDIT: Some Pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The earpieces currently on there, I found to be the best music sound. And the gray "foam" ones are the best for sound isolation. Last edited by ChaosMinionX; Aug 15, 2007 at 01:41 AM. |

Are the wires replacable?
I hate it when wires on expensive items break, and there's no way to repair/replace them...

i have two sets of studio headphones, one is designed with a removable cable, while the other is hard-wired, but i've already had to replace it once due to the cable tearing (though now i have a much thicker cable that should last alot longer) how ever if i was to buy a set of quality in ears, i'd go for the canal style in-ear monitors, such as the etymotics, shures or ultimate ears. I tend to stay away from more multimedian brands like sony and co, as their offerings, while acoustically isolating, tend not to offer the clarity i'd like

I believe they can replace the wires, UE's warranty is pretty bombass too. 2 Year, which is what I would expect to keep them for, and if the wires go after that id have no problem buying a new pair.
