Multiple outputs not working
Hi all,
little problem I wonder if I can get you to help me with please? I have the following Windows Vista Ultimate Realtek AC97 based onboard audio: Mic connected works fine, Speakers connected do not work Creative XFi Xtreme Gamer: Digital out connected to receiver not working, headphones connected to spkr front output working fine No ideas what settings to even mess with to get the output on the realtek working okay or the digital to the receiver working. At the moment the speaker out on both are enabled, as is the mic on the realtek side and the spdif out on the xfi side and weirdly enough, the mic input is being output by the realtek speaker output! Damned I confused myself with that one. Please can someone help!? Thanks

Problem is audio is way different under Vista than previous MS OS's. I'm afraid you just maybe SOL.

bugger.
When I fire up the mixer on Vista I can see all these apps listed separately under the Creative XFi speaker output and nothing under the realtek. Shame theres no way to switch between the two. I'd like to be able to send MP3 app output to the speakers.
