audigy 2 driverpack update no work

whenever i try to install the latest driver pack on my system says no audigy 2 card was found. but i do have an audigy card... any solutions? and no i dont wanna go through hacking the drivers and crap again like did on audigy 1

This is strange... are you sure that card is working? Can you try to install kX Drivers and copy Hardware info from About screen?

the drivers off the cd are fine... the software updates install fine. and in device manager my card is being detected as creative sb audigy shouldnt it say audigy 2? wut can i do?

No, that's OK, Creative doesn't differ Audigy from Audigy2 (because they both use EMU10k2 DSP), if it works fine, then everything is ok.

hmm but i wanna get the update... anything else i should do cause i dont wanna reinstall the creative drivers when i install the kx audio driver

Try using Compatibility patch firsrt.

If it doesn't work... I will see what can I do... I have .324 driver package on CD and I may upload them somewhere. The come with Audigy2 OEM, but they might work for you. Interested in that?

nm i also am using the .324 drivers i jus checked, and i have an audigy 2 oem, i have no idea why i put platinum i think i was stoned at the time o well. thx riva u always help me!
