Don't think it's going to happen, I'm resigned to just doing it via software instead, not much of a difference in any case.

New drivers for the audigy series included in this release, FWIW.

Get the Prelude 7.1 as the HDMI x-tension card will be be very handy in the future. And it's a great all round card.

It's S$349 here in S'pore and maybe $320 if we do a M.O. so yeah by the time I save The Pcie version may be out. Some of my friends review
www.hardwarezone.com - Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1
www.hardwarezone.com - Auzen X-Fi Prelude Review..Thansk to Corbell

For that type of price some of us are going the DAC way like the Citypulse or this (all from the same company).

ibasso D1 , headamp pico, Headroom all more popular then Fubar now. And again some of my friends comment.
DAC people. Share experience thread. - VR-Zone IT & Lifestyle Forum!

As for audigy drivers can try this
New Audigy driver: 4Gb RAM, EQ, Stereo Surround, Louder volume, Audio Center (10/21) - Windows Vista - Creative Labs

and if you dun need DD/DTS but base on 2.15.0004
Unofficial SB Audigy series Vista Driver 2.15.0004 (based on X-Fi release) - Windows Vista - Creative Labs

Damn, you just destroyed my last hope.

I have bought a Dell XPS 720 with a OEM X-Fi Gamer. I need the X-FI 2.15.0004 driver to install on my machine. But I can't because its OEM and it refuses installing it.

I was searching your forum for several hours and now I see the hope is gone. :-(

i thought 2.15.0004 drivers were hacked to be installed on any OEM. Apparantly it is not yet.
