Installing AC97 legacy audio drivers
I am Installing AC97 legacy audio drivers using the wdma_int.inf file that comes with the drivers. After installing the master volume is set to a lower level by default. It seems there is a place in the inf file to adjust the default volume but I cant get it to work does anyone know if this is possible. Here is the part I edited:
HKR,Settings,MasterVolume,1,FF,FF ; 0 dB ;HKR,Settings,HeadphoneVolume,1,00,00 ; 0 dB ;HKR,Settings,MonoOutVolume,1,00,00 ; 0 dB ;HKR,Settings,ToneControls,1,0F,0F ; Bypass Treble and Bass ;HKR,Settings,BeepVolume,1,00,00 ; 0 dB ;HKR,Settings,PhoneVolume,1,08,80 ; Muted, 0 dB I just uncommented the first line about the master volume and set it to the highest possible number |
