NVIDIA R nForce TM Audio - On Board
Hi
I have had to reload windows following a SP3 induced screw up. All now running OK other than the fact that the PC refuses to recognise that there is a Sound 'card' installed. Does anyone know where I can get an ancient set of drivers for the above please? Many thanks Alex. |

nforcershq.com is a good place to start. They have modified "remix" sets of drivers.
And ofcourse the Nvidia site for official releases. |

Try reinstalling your chipset drivers. I believe the nForce sound drivers come with that, and it might just be that there's a part of the chipset driver that isn't installed that would enable the system to recognize the presence of the nForce unit.
Also note that the nForce sound will disable itself in the presence of a PCI sound card. |
