A sound card for home recording

Hello,
I need an opinion to help me searching a sound card for home recording. I'm trying to use PC to record guitar and bass and I need a good but cheap sound card to begin.
Thanks a lot for your answers.

Hallo Robert and dj_stick, my budget is not great, I hope to spent a little more then 100 €, if it's possible, or something used....I would made some music by myself for hobby and I 'd want to spent a lot for this. For me it's enough 1 input becouse I'll record 1 instrument at time, guitar, bass and drumpad...

ok, well for bass and guitar, you'll need with with a DI (or use one seperately) and for a mic you'll need a one with a decent mic preamp (consumer soundcards don't count)

this one might be a bit over your budget but it wil do what you need it to: M-AUDIO - MobilePre USB - USB Bus-Powered Preamp and Audio Interface

iirc the conversion will be about ~eur115
