AOpen AX45F-DN sound problems

Good afternoon

I have an AOpen AX45F-DN motherboard, with onboard AC97 sound.

I am using a S3 Inc Savage4 PCI Screen card with a celeron 2 gig processor and 516 meg ram.

My problem is that when I start playing a song, the pc reboots itself after about 30 seconds of the song starting.

I have tried using Win 2000, Win XP Pro as well as Vista, but the problem happens with all three operating systems.

I tried loading a PCI ALS4000 sound card but the same happens.

Can anyone suggest what may be causing the problem as I am almost bald from tearing my hair out.
