Nope, because dell's site is very strange.
I found only patch/update for Creative Diagnostics. (Drivers and Downloads) Driver from HP didn't work also. |

Try these. I use them for my Dell OEM Audigy 2 with XP SP3. Nice latest apps and drivers:

Thank you for your help.
I downloaded only drivers, but I recognized that they are only for Vista. I have XP SP2 and now I am downloading driver ISO pack, which is for XP. I downloaded ISO, mounted it, installed drivers and apps and it didn't work. I run Creative Diagnostics and card passes all tests, but I can't hear anything in speakers or hedphones. When I try to play music in Winamp or Windows Media Player, they play first two seconds of each track and then froze (but in speakers is silence all the time). I tried everything, pls help. Make sure you have disabled your onboard sound in the bios for the motherboard if your motherboard is equipped with one.
Also try to reinstall the drivers from the install disc. But before the reinstall, use Driver Cleaner first in Windows Safe Mode - also use the built-in cabcleaner; choose SP2 if you have installed XP SP2. If nothing works try to place the Audigy 2 ZS in other PCI slots and see which one works better. And (double-)check whether you are pluging the speakers/headphones/microphone in the right jack in/output on the soundcard. Also the mentioned install disc (the ISO) may not work because you got the DELL oem Audigy 2 ZS; you may get it to work by adding the ID of the DELL soundcard to the ini and inf files in the driver. Good luck! Last edited by tcman; Jun 15, 2008 at 12:29 PM. |
