Audigy 2 Platinum, Causing freezes while gaming.
Hi,
It's been a while since i used this good old sound card, Cause i suffered from heavy crackling sounds. However i decided to install it again, since i see creative released new drivers (2.18.0000 beta). So now i installed this, So far its looking good. Crack&pop's sounds seems to be gone in windows, while playing music etc. thats a good thing, it still occurre's while playing games, not as worse it was before tho. But here comes the problem, After a while, while gaming, my whole system will freeze, and theres nothing i can do but reset my system. When it froze, it will crackle like crazy. This only happens when using my Audigy 2 sound card, If u use onboard sound its stable. Anybody know whats up? This is my setup, Windows XP Sp2 x86 E6600 2GB DDR2 Nvidia Geforce 7800GS AGP Asrock 4core dual sata 2 Audigy 2 Platinum, (dint connect the external drive, just the sound card) |
