Can you run two sound cards at once like bgears and xfi?
Sometime next week I'm getting specail box let me not used my wireless card that means I will have extra pci slot
. With wireless specail box I can have three thing run at once my moms pc my pc and my ps3 all wireless with out one ip screwing up now hehe. That means I can all stuff on same time and best part I don't need my wireless card anymore it goes threw wireless box instead with my indoor ant.

Yes, you can have two or more audio cards installed on one computer. You just have to tell what ever app you are using which of your audio cards you want it to use. Or change the default sound card under the sound options to whatever audio card you want to use for the app or game you want prior to starting said app.

Or you can use Velbac to link the two cards into one virtual card.
your X-fi would be the DSP card and the Blugears would be the output card. You can ould have all the features and DSP options for gaming from the X-fi and the output options and features from the Blue gears card. If you don;t want to go this route then yes, you can use two cards, I actually know guys that run 4-5 soundcards. This type of setup offers more inputs and outputs for people recording. |

I have my bgears sound card and my XFI music card side by side so far they sound great
I have digital out on my bgears running xfi card at same time hehe just have test some games hopely it would improve my benchmark scores. I let you know. Now I know whats going on with the drivers. Yes I notice when I installed my 6.05 set EAX are grey out I fix that soon. With two sound cards on my computer I know what going now This is awesome! Thanks to Velbac_v2.00
