True, I think they will do great they have good specs for the gear offered to start with aslong as the prices are competitive and the gear and software is solid then that is the main thing in recording. Here is a link list for the gear...

Quartet: PCI 4X4 recording interface capable of 24/192Khz recording with a Dynamic Range of 115db, Microphone input, Direct insturment input and Dual headphone amplifiers. LINK

AMON: USB 2 channel Interface with support for 24/96 recording and zero latency moitoring, with Microphone Preamp and Hi-Z insturment input(plug your guitar in a jam): LINK

DEUX: FireWire 24/96 recording interface offering support ofr balanced I/O with 2 inputs, 4 outputs with Zero Latency hardware monitoring: LINK

BLOW4 & BLOW4D, 55 Watt High end 24/192Khz recording monitors in both analog input only (Blow4) and can accept digital input aswell with added 24/192Khz D/A converter with 123dB dynamic range (Blow4D): BLOW4-LINK
, BLOW4D-LINK

BLOW5 & BlOW5D, 90 Watt High End 24/192Khz recording monitors in both analog input (Blow5) and with the added 24/192Khz (123db Dyn.) DAC module the units also accept digital input. BLOW5-LINK
, BLOW5D-LINK

Primus a25, USB Midi COntroller and audio interface -25 Key Midi controller w/ 16 channel Midi I/O, The Primus can also record from onboard inputs for Mic, insturments. LINK

UFO, High quality USB Microphone with Headphone output for monitoring. No external power is required. LINK

Auzentechs site says coming soon. There are a few products I am interested in here. The market has many players as you said but the more the better. Gives use variety and forces others companies to up their games to compete with the new products. Definatley will keep a eye on this product line up.

They are concentrating on Pro-sumer gear. Most of the interfaces offer enough I/O to get some work done. That AMON allows for direct connection of guitar or other Hi-Z insturments. A few of the products have my attention.

I like this one. Reminds me of TerraTec PHASE 22, ESI Juli@ and similar M-Audio offerings. Hell, this could even be Envy24 chip. It looks like one.

BTW, I wonder how much it will cost? Considering that EMU 0404 is around 100€ here, I expect it to be below that price.

Yes, I like that one also. Phantom power, Hi-Z insturment input. I read over the specs of all the devices and they offer some good quality recording options.

i wouldnt use a USB interface for pro style recording, too much latency

pci/pci-e/firewire is the way to go

hmmm it seems Auzen are only distributing the products, not manufacturing them, and as yet I can't see too much reason to choose them over M-Audio, Terratec, Edirol, Focusrite, Lexicon, Tascam etc

the real clinchers will be Audio quality, and drivers, which we aren't able to check just yet

using USB is for portability for use with a Laptop. There is also a Firewire unit if you prefer that interface. I guess we have to wait and check out the quality of the units. From the specs the units look very nice.

It's 122€ - INFRASONIC QUARTET - U.K. International Cyberstore which is a bit more than I expected, but seems that it's above Juli@ and PHASE 22 (and even EMU 0404), comparable to Maya 44, as it has stereo inputs and outputs.

And I like the SNR. Reall impressive. Reminds me of much more expensive Onkyo SE-150/200PCI cards.

The larger caps are part of a power supply design that gives the card ultra stable power according to info I have read. Infrasonic is a high end very well known company overseas, they just never bothered with our kneck of the woods. Auzentech decided to bring them to the masses in North America. They have some great products based on the info and specifications I have read. There are a few items I would love to add to my personal studio.

Are you considering this card for a recording setup? This card is quite versatile really. I use a external mixer so this card can work good for my rig.
The Blow5D monitors look quite nice also. Did you have a look at them?

Yeah, I don't know how much they cost, but looking at the specs I'm sure they are way out of what I can afford...
Still, I would pick E-MU 1212m over that card anytime. Without doubt.

I don't think they will be that much and most likely much cheaper then a 1212m.

I'm not so sure...
infrasonic quartet - Google Product Search
1212m - Google Product Search
They will have to make it a lot cheaper, IMHO. Hell, Maya44 is $100 esi maya44 - Google Product Search and, while it doesn't have the same SNR, it can compare to this card in terms of features. Not to mention 0404 (PCI version) at the same price 0404 - Google Product Search.

Either way $149 for that card is a good price considering the features and SNR. There are always other options at any price.

OK, I take it all back. This card is great.

No, not just great. This is my dream Envy24HT (or HT-S, I guess they used the later) card. So far, I failed to notice that this card has MIDI and S/PDIF inputs and outputs. I thought that it was HDMI, not some special connector for breakout cables. Having this, it doesn't look that expensive now.

It looks even better compared to Overpricedkyo, and yet it has similar specs. We can argue about whether it looks better or worse, though

If this thing becomes available in Croatia, I might consider picking one. It will get me toying with ALSA source and experimenting with making a driver for it, if it doesn't work already

Yes there is a break-out cable with, Word clock, Midi I/O with 5pin DIN cables and digital I/O. Versatile card for recording and great for entry level to the home recording world. I am considering getting one of these and the Blow 5D monitors for my home studio.
