Am i the only one with this ishue : Digital Out Always Ticked after reboot ? WTF
i have a audgy 2 just got it today.
great card may i say i have a slight problem though. in the speaker settings tab, The digital OUT ! is always ticked. i untick it and reboot and the dam thing is ticked all the time. i have to keep going into the speaker settings and unticking the tab so i can get sound back. is there a fix or am i screwed , there must be a fix becuse this happened with the set on the official cdrom aswell. and the latest version 382 drivers. please help.

When you installed the drivers, did you choose the option to default to the digital out?
I think the default is yes. Worth re-installing and checking that setting. |

hmm..... that didn't happen to me back when I had Audigy. I recommend that you figure out which registry entry controls this feature and edit it directly.
edit: also, have you been tweaking XP services via services.msc? If so, you may have disabled something that the Audigy uses.

MY COMPUTER\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CREATIVE TECH\DEFAULTS
the key is Digital Out just change the binary to 0 for off and 1 for on did the trick
