Problems playing sound

Hello,

I have problems playing sound from my computer. Have checked as much as I can with the simple settings. I updated the driver for the sound card. Nothing wrong there.

I suspect that the problem could be with the motherboard because I saw that the driver update was from 2001.

What more should I check to see what's the problem? Have done all the steps on windows troubleshoot, knowing it wouldn't help much.

I found the manufacturer, Pronix (Ppox) but didn't manage to get to their website and download drivers
I have SiSoftware Sandra installed if you need information about my mobo.

THanks, Gwarf

Re: Problems playing sound

I should probably try to reinstall windows, it was a while ago. It's not the first thing you want to do though.

I'll write here when I'm done.
