KXproject setup possible with Creative's own drivers?

I currently have my headphones connected to the center output on my Audigy2zs and my regular speakers to the rear output (with the swap speaker checked in the kxmixer).
This way I can control the volume of my headphones seperately and everything works great.
I want to go Vista/Windows 7 64bit and since there wont be any KXProject 64, I'm wondering if I can keep the above setup because it works great for me.
