strange issue with X-Fi

sup all... i have a X-Fi fatality pro... the one with the little red light and the ram... in vista 32.

and when running a game or video, everything is fine but all the sudden... the sound goes away and a strange steady non stop beep hit my speaker lol... ironicly the game keeps running...

The only work around so far is restart the computer... which is kinda annoying closed down everything in the game save up or dump the match then start away...

Is there a way to fix this... i try reinstalling the driver and the issue still there... also uninstall the OpenAL in program manager, and test around some sound samplings like 48, 96 and such and nothing happens...

ya... sounds somewhat diferent... but the strange beep keeps going... right now I was playing TF2 and boom! beep and game sound out....
