Windows 7 6.30 Wingfoot vs 6.45 under Windows 7

I know theres an issue with the 6.30's not playing anything higher than 2 channel sound - hence i use my headphones. However I appreciate the Crisp bass and treble offered with these drivers.

The problem is i'm missing the 5.1 mode which I had while using Vista with the 6.30's. Once I upgraded to Windows 7, and still keeping the 6.30's the 5.1 mode was lost, yet the quality of the drivers still sounded great using headphones. I want the 5.1 back so I can continue using my speakers too. I want to try the new windows 7 pax drivers however somethings holding me back. Could somebody please clarify if the sound quality of the 6.45's is equivalent to that of the 6.30's? Does the 6.45s pax offer the same crisp bass and crisp treble under windows 7 as the 6.30s did.

if so, I'll take the upgrade with gratitude.

Hi I be releaseing sets soon I'm doing fine tuning yet to them. Might be release midweek since there windows 7 drivers now. Reason why I be upgrading new motherboard and p4 2.66 chip soon I might put windows 7 back on it once I get my HD 2600 card back.

Ok Rob, that'll be fab. Looking forward to them being released. Don't rush them.. Give them the utimate tweak. :-) Thanks for all your hard work. I simply couldn't drop windows 7. We're are a perfect match.
