Bisha is on a distinguished road

Sound in left channel down 95%

I have a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P motherboard with the Realtek onboard sound chip and I have almost completely lost the left sound channel. Checked out the speakers and they are fine, installed the latest Realtek drivers from Gigabyte and still 95% loss of sound in the left channel. I am sure open to any ideas???

Just kidding. Most likely ya mobo audio is giving out. try getting a cheap soundblaster or something.

Welcome to DH.

My built-in sound in gigabyte 865 has also been damaged so I had to buy a sound card , I heard that is common in the built-in sound devices.

test the speaker jack with a set of headphones - if the headphones sound fine, it's the speakers

also go into the realtek control panel, check for any pan or balance controls, and set them to centre

if the software side looks fine, test another soundcard
