Install Audigy 4 Pro on Windows XP SP3 : no tools :(

Hello,

I'm trying to install my all new Audigy 4 Pro sound card but I keep running into problems.

First I downloaded the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2.18.0010 (2009-03-23) drivers (file "SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0010.exe") from Creative Worldwide Support, which worked but I was quite surprised of the absence of configuration tools (speaker set, equalizer, etc.).

So I tried the Sound Blaster Audigy Series Support Pack 2.0 (2009-04-17) (file "Audigy_SupportPack_2_0.exe")
but it won't install correctly and all the tools ("EAX Console", "Surround Mixer", "Graphic Equalizer", etc.) refused to work complaining that no supported device could be found.

So I tried the YpoauxP pack (which I received on a CD-R with my Audigy) : it installs but now, the only woking tools are "THX Console", "Audio Console" and "Creative Diagnostics".

While searching for help in Google I keep running into old methods (from 2006) : Nobody has an Audigy 4 anymore nowadays ?

Thanks for your help.

It seems you have fixed my problem in the other Topic (" Pax Audigy Software Suite Spring Edition 2009") :

As advised I installed (by running "\setup.exe") the official 2.18.0010 (2009-03-23) drivers (SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0010.exe) after having installed the Suite Spring Edition 2009 drivers ("\Setup.exe") + tools ("\Audigy4\Audio\Setup\setup.exe").

Thanks again (for BOTH you work on drivers AND for your fast and reliable support)
