SBL-Optical-Reciever Help

hey, well im new to this forum, and i've found great help here...
my question is... I have a Soundblaster Live 5.1 and I would like to use the Digital Out and connect it to my Stero, but the problem is, my stero doesn't have any Digital Inputs. Is there any type of box that i can hook Digital Output to and have it connect to my stero via the regular Left/Right wires?

You'd need an external analog to digital converter. These things are pretty high quality devices, and are pretty expansive too. Anyway, it wouldn't make any sense, since your stereo would recieve analog signal, just as if you'd connect it to the card's line out. Getting a new sound card with high quality DACs would be a better (and cheaper) solution.
